Provide High School Equivalency (HSE) instruction in Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science to adults in classrooms, community settings, and jails. Work within a multi-disciplinary team to support recovery and educational attainment for individuals with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field and an Oklahoma Teaching Certification. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to apply trauma-informed instruction for adult learners.

The Adult Education Teacher is responsible for providing High School Equivalency (HSE) instruction to men and women in classroom and community settings. Instruction may also take place in county jails for individuals impacted by the criminal/legal system. Areas of instruction include Literacy and/or HSE classes in the subject areas of Language Arts, Social Studies, Math and Science for the attainment of a General Education Development (GED) diploma.
