We believe young children learn best through meaningful relationships, responsive teaching, play-based exploration, and consistent emotional support. Our educators work collaboratively to create classrooms where children feel safe, seen, and encouraged to grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Position Overview We are seeking an adaptable and proactive educator to join our team as a Whole School Teacher — a role designed for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to make an impact across our entire preschool community. Our Whole School Teacher is a fully integrated member of the teaching team who becomes a familiar, trusted presence for children, families, and staff across all classrooms. This role is especially well-suited to an educator who enjoys working with diverse age groups, values teamwork, and can adapt confidently to the changing needs of a preschool environment. Key Responsibilities Classroom & Child Support Provide support across all preschool classrooms throughout the day Maintain continuity of care and classroom coverage during breaks, planning time, and staff absences Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and staff across the school community Recognize when a child may need additional emotional support and respond with patience and care Use positive guidance and relationship-based approaches to support child development Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with lead teachers to support classroom goals and routines Ask thoughtful questions and offer support in ways that feel collaborative and respectful Adapt easily to different teaching styles, classroom needs, and age groups Communicate clearly and professionally with teachers, families, and administrators Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives Classroom Environment & Organization Help prepare classroom materials and learning environments Support setup, cleanup, and classroom organization throughout the day Maintain clean, safe, welcoming classroom spaces in accordance with licensing and health requirements Assist children in caring for their classroom community and shared materials
Qualifications
