Market context
In Illinois, early childhood substitute roles are often needed to cover daily absences in preschool and licensed daycare settings, so availability and flexibility can matter as much as experience. These jobs are competitive because candidates who already know classroom routines, child supervision, and safe lifting practices can step in with less training. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm you meet the age, education, and lifting expectations before applying.
