Job description

  • A warm and welcoming family in the West Paces area is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and engaging nanny to care primarily for their 6-month-old infant, with occasional care for their 2.5-year-old after daycare.
  • The baby is happy and easygoing, loves contact naps, and thrives with attentive, hands-on care.
  • The family is looking for someone who can support developmental milestones through sensory play, reading, narration, and interactive engagement, as well as assist with establishing healthy sleep habits.
  • Feeding support is especially important, as the baby can tire during bottle feeds and benefits from a patient caregiver who can provide pacing and encouragement.
  • Familiarity with baby-led weaning is a plus.
  • The toddler is in daycare most of the day and is sweet, a bit sassy, and initially shy but warms up with time.
  • They do best with positive redirection and enjoy free play, arts and crafts, reading, and outdoor activities.
  • Responsibilities include light household support such as managing diaper pails, restocking supplies, laundry, unloading dishes, simple meal prep, organization projects, and occasional errands or daycare pickup.
  • The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is organized, proactive, and adaptable, with a nurturing and inclusive approach.
  • The family values safe sleep practices and overall safety standards.
  • Comfort with swimming is required, and the family has a hypoallergenic Russian Blue cat in the home.
