  • SUMMARY: To provide administrative support for the Summer Education Program. To assist director and staff in day to day functioning of the program.

Purpose

  • The Summer Education Program Clerk will align his/her scope of work with Jawonio’s Mission, while incorporating Jawonio’s Core Values as the guiding principle for all work activities.

  • DUTIES
  • AND
  • RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Elements 1. Serves as program administrative support - answering phones, taking messages, responding to questions, redirecting callers to appropriate staff. Confirms/cancels program appointments as appropriate and performs other procedures to maintain program activity. 2. Performs a broad range of administrative and clerical functions, including filing, copying of documents, faxing, class lists, etc. 3. Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment for program, ordering replacements as needed. 4. Maintains the program attendance records for payroll on a weekly basis. Prepares data and reports for the staff. 5. Must have working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook 6. Provide support in classrooms and/or pool side as needed 7. Assist with bus dismissal and arrival 8. Assist with time approvals and time off requests Nonessential Elements 9. Maintains safe, orderly work area and work practices. 10. Performs other duties as required.

  • High school plus one year office experience
  • INTERRELATIONSHIPS: Continual relations with parents and staff. Contact with nurse and others as part of the program activity.
