  • A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JOB COACH As a Job Coach, you provide direct support to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, empowering them to reach their goals.
  • You are a valuable resource for each individual and will assist them with whatever their needs are at work.
  • You will accompany individuals to their place of work, teach job skills, observe individual abilities and interests, identify areas for further skill development, promote independence and self-reliance.
  • Help them with day-to-day work tasks and responsibilities such as, clocking in/out, requesting for time off, attend trainings, access benefits, review safety skills, communicate with supervisors and/or co-workers, you respect and encourage each person to make their own choices.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Valid California driver's license, 2 years of driving experience, and vehicle insurance Ability to obtain base access (We will assist in the process) Strong interpersonal skills A related college degree or related experience is preferred but multiple factors will be considered. Are you dependable and service-oriented? Do you have strong communication and interpersonal skills? Are you friendly and able to establish a good rapport with people easily? WORK SCHEDULE This full-time position works a flexible schedule that is based on the availability of the employee and the participant's work schedule.
