TERI is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to support students at our Country School in developing independence, sensory regulation, motor skills, and meaningful participation in their educational environment.

In this position, you will work within small, supportive learning environments alongside a collaborative, mission-driven team that includes educators, behavioral specialists, and related service providers. You will have the opportunity to deliver individualized, high-impact occupational therapy services through push-in, pull-out, and small group models while contributing to each student’s IEP goals and overall progress.

  • Your Role & Responsibilities –
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to individual students and small groups in alignment with IEP goals, including push-in, pull-out, and consultative models
  • Conduct screenings, observations, and evaluations to assess sensory-motor, fine motor, visual-motor, and functional performance needs
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans and interventions based on student needs and progress data
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families, educators, districts, and interdisciplinary team members to support student goals and outcomes
  • Integrate OT strategies into classroom routines in partnership with teachers and support staff to promote student independence, regulation, and participation
  • Maintain accurate documentation, track progress data, ensure compliance with regulations, and uphold student safety, dignity, and well-being

Qualifications

  • Current California Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) in good standing
  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy (MOT or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in special education, autism, or developmental disability settings
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric Occupational Therapist practices, including sensory integration, fine motor development, and school-based services
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to IEP development and implementation

Pay –

$85.00 - $95.00 Hourly
