- Shift time: 5pm-6pm
- Essential
- Duties/Responsibilities: Monitor front desk Log visitors and permit entry Facilitate drop-off and pick-up of students Serve as first point of contact for parents Patrol access points during program operation Obtain help and provide emergency assistance when necessary Prevent conflict with support from instructional staff Maintain high visibility during program operation Document unusual occurrences Field telephone calls as needed Other duties as assigned QualificationsEducation/Experience/Training Must have High school diploma or GED. Must have experience working in/providing support within an urban school settings. Strong general knowledge of the population of students at risk and experience with passion for successful intervention strategies of these students. Skills/Abilities Ability to understand and interpret the policies, procedures, and general organizational structure of Chicago Public Schools. Excellent verbal communication skills.
