Job Description

Job Summary: The Full-Time Secondary Substitute Teacher will provide instruction and maintain continuity of the educational process in the absence of regular classroom teachers for students in grades 7-12. This role requires a flexible and adaptable individual who can deliver lessons across various subjects and grade levels, ensuring a positive learning environment that supports students’ academic and personal growth. Key Responsibilities: Instruction: Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and instructional materials in the absence of regular teachers, adapting as necessary to meet the needs of students. Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Address behavioral issues promptly and according to school policies. Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel encouraged to participate and engage with the material.

Communication

Provide clear and effective communication with students, parents, and school staff regarding classroom activities and student progress as needed.
