Job Description
- Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborate in the development of appropriate IEPs and IFSPs Recommend appropriate accommodations and modifications tailored to the specific needs of the student Serve on interdisciplinary teams evaluating students with suspected gross and/or fine motor issues as well as any physical mobility needs. Review student records, organize information, and determine appropriate assessment battery. Observe students; assess, evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and write reports. Assess students’ physical motor skills and functioning and make recommendations. Participate in the decision-making process regarding special placement of students. Participate in Individual Education Program meetings with students and parents as needed. Evaluates effects of physical therapy treatments and fit of prosthetic and orthotic devices by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommending adjustments and modifications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Preferred: Interpersonal Skills Knowledge of curriculum and instruction programs proven to be beneficial to pupils with special learning needs. Excellent written and oral skills. Ability to communicate well with students, parents and teachers. Five years of successful Physical Therapist experience preferred.
