Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, family, and other therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist Conduct intake screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations within required timelines Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs, assessments, and treatment goals Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions including trauma-informed and co-occurring treatment services Document all clinical services in accordance with state, accreditation, and agency standards Participate in clinical staffing meetings and interdisciplinary treatment planning discussions Manage caseloads and meet department-specific Collaborative Service Goal (CSG) requirements Coordinate with internal departments to ensure authorization and continuity of services Assist clients through transition and discharge planning processes Provide crisis intervention and coordinate emergency services when necessary Maintain professional relationships with clients, referral partners, and colleagues while adhering to ethical standards and agency policies Provide consultation and support to treatment team members regarding clinical concerns and evidence-based practices Complete all required trainings and maintain compliance with regulatory standards Represent the organization professionally within the community Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership Education and/or Experience
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related behavioral health field required Must be eligible to obtain full licensure with the applicable professional licensing board in the state of practice Must be willing to complete all required supervision hours and licensing examination requirements Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment services preferred Knowledge of evidence-based practices, diagnostic criteria, and rehabilitation methods related to behavioral health treatment Must be willing to obtain licensure in additional states as needed Experience or willingness to provide telehealth services required Required License/Certification: Master’s degree in a qualifying behavioral health field required Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required Ability to obtain applicable professional licensure required Additional Qualifications: Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills Knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to establish rapport and maintain effective therapeutic relationships Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage crisis situations effectively Knowledge of state regulations, accreditation standards, and ethical guidelines related to behavioral health services Comfortable providing services through telehealth platforms Ability to follow direction, accept supervision, and implement feedback effectively Supervisory Requirements: None Employment Requirements: Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks Completion of New Hire Orientation upon hire Completion of all required trainings, including Relias training, upon hire and annually thereafter Completion of Behavioral Management training within required timelines Achievement of ongoing training requirements in accordance with agency and state standards Provide copies of all applicable certifications and licenses Knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations of the assigned program For school-based programs, ability to provide services during school operating hours Physical Requirements: ADA Consideration – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and documentation tasks. Sedentary work primarily involves sitting but may include occasional walking or standing for brief periods throughout the workday.
