The Head Start Teacher is responsible for providing responsive care and developmentally appropriate instruction to children birth to five. This includes managing a safe learning environment, conducting child assessments, and maintaining regular communication with parents and families.
Candidates must have at least an Associate degree (with a Bachelor's preferred) and ideally two years of early childhood classroom experience. Additional requirements include a valid driver's license, ability to pass a background check, and the physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
