Floater

The floater is primarily responsible for protecting the physical and mental health and safety of children while assisting in providing an organized learning environment aligned with the head start early learning outcomes framework. This role involves supporting the implementation of prescribed curricula, assisting with child screenings and evaluations, and supporting parent engagement opportunities.

Required education is a high school diploma or ged, and the employee must obtain a child development associate (Cda) credential within six months of employment. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to respond sensitively to cultural characteristics, maintain emotional control, and possess a working knowledge of innovative network of knowledge policies.
