Job description

Bishop Fenwick School Preschool Teacher Full-time Bishop Fenwick School is searching for a qualified, nurturing Preschool Teacher to begin in the 26-27 school year. The candidate should be hardworking, collaborative and demonstrate a high degree of self-efficacy, holding themselves accountable for student outcomes. This candidate will be responsible for creating a structured, joyful, and developmentally appropriate classroom that supports students spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth.

Requirements

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Associate/Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood is preferred
  • Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach
  • Previous experience with children preferred but not required
  • Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
  • Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training [https://columbuscatholic.org/safe]
  • Commitment to Catholic education and child-based learning
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to foster a joyful, structured, and nurturing classroom
  • Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
