The Bilingual Preschool Teacher plays a vital role in supporting high‑quality early learning experiences for preschool-aged children. This position is responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate programming, maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment, and supporting instructional excellence across assigned classrooms. The Preschool Resource Teacher upholds CCG standards, Head Start Performance Standards, NAEYC criteria, and all licensing regulations while collaborating closely with teachers, families, and center leadership. This role requires strong classroom management skills, flexibility, and a passion for early childhood development.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment, including daily activity setup and support of learning centers.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with RC3, including curriculum preparation, child assessments, and documentation.
  • Support children’s growth across developmental domains, ensuring progress of at least 15% on the E‑LAP.
  • Build positive relationships with children and families through ongoing communication, participation in conferences, and conducting home visits per Performance Standards.
  • Collaborate with classroom teams and assume responsibility for daily programming in the Lead Teacher’s absence.
  • What You Bring
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Associate’s Degree in child development or a related field.
  • One year of experience working with young children.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and a strong desire to work with preschool-aged children.
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and volunteers.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
