  • What you will do: Ensure all aspects of athletic programs comply with University standards and conference and national affiliation rules and regulations.
  • Identify potential risk and helps in establishing criteria and plans for correction.
  • Explain and demonstrate the principles, techniques, and methods of regulating movement of the human body, kinesiology, biomechanics, etc. to achieve proficiency in the assigned activity or sport.
  • Observe students during practice to encourage good athletic skills and provide guidance for improvements.
  • Assess student-athlete capabilities.
  • Explain and demonstrate use of apparatus and equipment.
  • Assist and/or executes program development, develops strategies for competitions and enrollment growth expectation What you need: 1 years’ work experience in a similar capacity.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
  • Bonus Points: CPR, First Aid and Coaches’ Safety Training certifications; AED training preferred.
