Qualifications

High School Diploma and experience working in social services required. Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience working in the field of social services with individuals with disabilities preferred. First Aid and CPR preferred. Primary Duties/Responsibilities Works alongside participant as needed to assist with meeting employer expectations with regards to task completion and speed. Continue to provide training to improve participant work performance after employer's training period has ended. Problem solves to create accommodations or other ways to address performance issues. Support participants to develop and maintain relationships with co-workers and supervisors. Develops and maintains natural support on the job and establishes working relationships with the supervisor(s). Implement proper fading/re-entry techniques to ensure participant success. Maintains contact with MERS/Goodwill Case Manager assigned to the participant to report progress and difficulties. Completes agency documentation which may include, but not limited to, daily documentation of observations and job coaching/retention hourly log. When coaching for Summer Work Experience, documentation will include participant timesheets and weekly evaluations. Utilizes time at the work site to complete all necessary documentation.
