$26.89 - $33.61 per hour

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide effective and efficient clinical services, using evidence-based practice models including but not limited to STAY and RUBI to eligible children and families in the community.
- Complete and maintain all required clinical and administrative records in a timely manner, using Collaborative Documentation when appropriate. Documentation includes but not limited to progress notes, safety plans and cross system care plans.
- Provide outreach services to clients and their caregivers.
- Participate in team meetings in home, community, and office.
- Collaborate with schools, social service agencies and other providers to ensure continuity and quality of care. Build teams utilizing natural supports to support the families in WISe.
- Educate and support clients’ families and advocate for clients’ rights and preferences. Consult with families and community agencies such as DSHS, court systems, housing authorities, etc., to maintain coordination in the treatment process.
- Provide crisis intervention counseling and coordinate with Crisis Responders/crisis services when appropriate.
- Participate in daily staff organizational meetings and treatment planning review meetings.
- Participate in providing information to clients on substance use issues such as the effect of mental and physical health and daily functioning. Coordinate treatment with internal and external substance use treatment providers.
- Assist clients with gaining resources and education to support their autonomy and basic needs.
- Assist in facilitating therapeutic and recreational groups for youth and families enrolled in services.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social services, or behavioral health or Bachelor’s degree in related field. EXPIERENCE: Experienced (minimum 3 years of job-related experience) This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency. Therefore, the incumbent must meet all agency driving requirements, including being at least 21 years old, having been licensed for a minimum of three years, successfully completing a motor vehicle history check, possessing and maintaining a current, valid driver’s license in the state of Washington, and having reliable, insured transportation. LICENSURE: Agency Affiliated Counselor (can be obtained after hire)
Preferred Qualifications
EDUCATION: Enrollment in continuing education in pursuit of a master’s level degree in social services related field. EXPERIENCE: Experience in co-occurring disorders treatment, individual and group therapy, vocational services, or substance abuse treatment.
