Job description
- Pilates Reformer Instructor Be You.
- The Fitness Team within the Duke Recreation and Physical Education department is looking for knowledgeable, energetic, and comprehensive certified Pilates Reformer Instructors.
- All Private Pilates instructors are required to hold a current comprehensive Pilates Instructor Certification from a respected and validated certifying organization.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certifications are Also Required.

- Minimum Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree · Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Certification from a respected and validated certifying organization. · Current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers certification (or ability to obtain within first 30-days). · Ability to lift 50lbs. · Valid driver’s license. · Ability to work evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
· Two or more years of experience working in private 1 on 1 or small group settings teaching Reformer Pilates. · Experience working with a variety of ages, wellness goals and physical conditions in a private Pilates Reformer setting. · Mat Pilates certification and/or teaching experience. Other Requirements: · Valid driver’s license. · Current Comprehensive Pilates Reformer Instructor Certification. This position is onsite. The work is performed on-site on Duke University’s East Campus in the Brodie Recreation Center. Choose Duke.

Anticipated Pay Range
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $22.80 to USD $36.01.
