Are you a positive, energetic person with a passion for health, wellness, and building community? Seeking a meaningful career that positively impact the lives of those around you?
If so, you could be an amazing fit for the community at Club Pilates!
We are currently looking for instructors who are confident working with clients of all fitness levels and committed to delivering challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe and supportive environment.
Club Pilates Des Moines is a locally owned small business, and we’re growing! We currently have studios in Ankeny, West Des Moines, Urbandale, Waukee, and soon Ingersoll.
As our business grows, so do the opportunities and benefits — allowing Pilates to become a true career path. In addition to competitive pay, we offer quarterly bonuses, a 401(k) with company match, continuing education opportunities, employee membership, and opportunities for advancement. This is a W-2 employee position, not an independent contractor role.
Founded in 2007, Club Pilates is the nation’s largest and fastest-growing Pilates franchise, with more than 1,500 locations across five countries.
Club Pilates stays true to Joseph Pilates’ original Reformer-based Contrology Method while modernizing the experience through group practice and state-of-the-art equipment. We provide high-quality, life-changing training at an accessible price point.
Our classes are full-body workouts taught on the Pilates reformer in a fun, modern Pilates environment. We utilize Balanced Body reformers, springboards, EXO chairs, and complementary equipment. Instructors may also choose to teach private sessions in our fully equipped private training rooms featuring Cadillac/Reformer equipment.

As with all Pilates Instructor Certification Programs, Teacher Training tuition is paid by the trainee. The certification belongs to the instructor individually, giving graduates the freedom to take their Pilates career wherever they choose.
The apprenticeship is a unique opportunity to begin working as an Apprentice Instructor within multiple Club Pilates locations throughout the Des Moines metro while completing your certification.
Because of the competitive Apprentice pay structure, many trainees are able to recoup the cost of tuition within just a few months of teaching while working toward full certification, at which time pay opportunities increase further.

Market context
In Iowa, classroom teacher roles typically see steady demand, especially for candidates with early childhood experience and current CPR/First Aid credentials. These positions can be competitive because employers often look for strong communication, organization, and the ability to handle physically active classroom duties, alongside benefits such as health, dental, vision, paid holidays, and paid time off. Review the physical requirements and certification details carefully before applying; this platform’s AI-summarized job requirements and benefits help save time by condensing the original posting.
