Job Description

Assists the lead teacher in providing and managing a warm, safe, healthy nurturing learning environment in which each child can grow intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Meets children' needs in all areas. Carries out appropriate, positive, guidance as established by the teacher. Implements program goals. Participates as a cooperative and supportive team member. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Worked with children for at least 1 year in a group setting. Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings. Early Learning Center employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church. Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the Diocese. Current DCF 45 hours, or willingness to complete. First Aide certified, or willingness to complete. Fire Extinguisher Training to be completed. CDA, or willingness to pursue.
