Essential Functions
20% Support the coaching efforts during competitive soccer matches. 35% Attend practices and workouts to assist with the training and preparation of student athletes for competition. 15% Assist with the recruitment of highly skilled players and support the search and evaluation process for all prospective student athletes. 10% Provide assistance in acquiring soccer equipment and ensuring departmental compliance with NCAA guidelines. 10% Support the public relations initiatives of the department while maintaining positive relationships with alumni, students and parents. Encourage community involvement and promotes University pride. 10% Assist in monitoring the academic progress of student athletes and provides counseling and advisement services to students when necessary. Experience
- Requires a minimum of 1 year experience playing and/or coaching soccer at the NCAA Division I level. Understanding of recruitment procedures and the technical fundamentals and principles of soccer required. Strong writing, organizational and basic computer skills required.
