A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM). Course Title and Course Number: EDKP 307 Evaluation in Physical Education Condensed Course: August 31, 2026 to October 15, 2026

Position Summary

Responsible for assessing students' peer- and self-evaluations of project deliverables throughout the semester, offering feedback on their project progress, and assisting the instructor with in-class exercises.

Requirements

Must be thorough, diligent and consistent. Must be responsible and willing to provide in-person (virtual) and real time feedback to students. Required Duties: - Administering, conducting and organization of laboratories. - Grade labs and assignments. - Assist in grading course quizzes and exams Qualifications: Students should have a thorough understanding of the Quebec Education Program particularly the Physical Education and Health curriculum.
