5 Total Hours of Work per Term: 450 This posting is for two to five unionized contractual appointments. A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM).

Position Summary

This requisition is for up to five positions, at 450 hours total (min. 90 hours each) for the term, in the Department Kinesiology and Physical Education. Required Duties: - Assist with practicum which involves overseeing undergraduates teach children, adolescents and adults with a disability in a physical activity setting. - Supervises designated undergraduates and meet with the students during the semester to discuss their program planning. - Assists with the development of class assignments - Grades or marks class assignments and-or at-home exams and-or assignments - Engage periodically in virtual contact time with students about course-related questions - Will be asked to periodically attend lectures upon the professor's request Qualifications: - Undergraduate degree in PE/Kin - Experience working in physical activity settings with individuals who have a disability.
