- Level: High SchoolNew Hope’s Education Department has an immediate opening for a Long-Term Substitute Teacher. Substitute teachers are responsible for providing instruction to students, managing the classroom environment, and completing required documentation.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing lesson plans
- Providing instruction
- Maintaining a safe and productive classroom environment
- Adhering to the daily schedule
- Enforcing classroom rules and procedures
- Managing classroom materials
- Accurately completing required documentation including attendance, behavior data, learning plans, grades, etc.
- QualificationsMinimum
- Qualifications: *High School Diploma or GED *Effective organizational skills *Professional communication and interpersonal communication skills *Ability to follow oral and written directions
