The Lead Teacher is responsible for developing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans for two-year-olds while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. They must also monitor child progress, communicate with families, and mentor assistant teachers.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with completed Early Childhood Education coursework and CPR/First Aid certification. Previous experience in a licensed childcare setting and the ability to pass a background check are required.
