About the Role

Substitute teachers are essential educators who manage classrooms, deliver lesson plans, and ensure student safety during regular teacher absences

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children 0-5 years Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the classroom. Collaborate with other teachers to enhance curriculum and classroom activities. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions among children.

Requirements

Must have completed basic classes in Early Childhood Education. Minimum of 6 months of experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare setting. CPR and First Aid certification required (or 3 months after hire date). Strong communication skills and a nurturing demeanor. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth. Background check clearance required prior to employment.
