Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified ELA Teacher to join our educational team. As an ELA Teacher, you will be responsible for providing English language instruction to students whose native language is not English. Your role will involve creating engaging lesson plans, assessing students' language skills, and fostering a supportive learning environment to help students achieve proficiency in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and FL teaching certification
  • Previous experience teaching at the k-12 level is preferred
  • Previous experience teaching ELA preferred.
  • Knowledge of language acquisition theories, teaching methodologies, and curriculum development for ELA learners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with culturally diverse students and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
