Les Peters Youth Academy

Moderate risk residential commitment program for female youth aged 14 to 19. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, while in the program.

What you will do

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a key member of the medical team and provides general health care for students within the scope of your license. This may include administering immunizations, assisting with TB screening, flu vaccines, and overall health maintenance of students and staff. As an LPN, you will also assist with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood-borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders. This position assists in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the medical team.

To be considered, you should

Possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing Credential from Florida. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing. Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
