The Assistant Teacher supports the Montessori Guide in facilitating interactive learning experiences and ensuring the daily care of children. Responsibilities include observing and planning activities for children and communicating effectively with families.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and experience in a licensed child care center or Montessori school. Montessori certification or training is preferred, and successful completion of a Florida background screening is required.
Every classroom is a community with a team of educators collaborating to provide an authentic experience to the children. The Assistant Teacher supports the Montessori Guide or Lead Teacher in all classroom areas.
