Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development. Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for children aged 3-5. Encourage creativity and exploration through hands-on activities and play-based learning. Assess and monitor each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's development and classroom activities. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends.

Requirement

  • CDA/Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting. Strong understanding of child development principles and early learning standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a nurturing demeanor. CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children. Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
