  • MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN Transforming student mental health in schools.

  • Starting salary range: $50,000-$55,000

Responsibilities

Partner closely with ESS clinicians to support students' mental health and overall well-being Monitor and track student progress, providing timely updates to the interdisciplinary team Assist in the development, implementation and reinforcement of the individualized care plans Co-facilitate group interventions and student support sessions under clinician guidance Support therapeutic milieu management (e.g., scheduling sessions, managing passes, lunch support, skill building, escorting students) Provide in-classroom support through observation and targeted interventions Collect and track student data; assist in developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed Respond to crisis situations effectively, coordinating with clinicians, school staff, and parents as directed Maintain accurate and timely documentation (data collection, observations, scheduling, etc.) Collaborate with family and external providers to strengthen student support systems Assist with case management tasks, including referrals and connecting families to community resources

Qualifications
