School Nurse RN Clark Shawnee High School General Summary/Responsibilities

Administers a comprehensive health service program that helps students achieve maximum benefit from the educational program.

Note

The assessment/treatment of students is limited to the evaluation of symptoms and administering emergency first aid. Guardians are encouraged to contact a licensed medical provider for additional services. Duties may require traveling to buildings throughout the district. FIDRNOCT

Ability to access pharmacology information and community health resources appropriate to the needs of students.  Meets all requirements to maintain CPR instructor certification, including teaching a minimum of 2 classes per year.
