Position Title: Assistant Men's/Women's Tennis Coach

Job Description

Reporting to the Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis coach, the Assistant Coach is responsible for working, as directed, with the Head Coach toward the planning and execution of a successful program. This individual will assist in overseeing coaching, recruitment, and retention of the tennis programs for the University. This position ensures the program works within University and NCAA rules and regulations. Essential

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and executing travel plans, coordinating logistics for events, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective travel arrangements for the team. Design and implement structured practice programs for the men's and women's varsity teams. Provide practice session support to the varsity men's and women's tennis teams, focusing on overall skill development. Accompany the men's and women's varsity teams on select away tournaments, providing on-site support to players through mentoring, performance analysis, and strategic guidance, contributing to improved team performance. Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills: Bachelor’s Degree required. Review of candidates will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Coaching and/or playing experience desired. Hours/Benefits Part-time - $7,000 Salary 10 months (August - May) Tuition Remission Benefits.
