The Instructional Assistant will provide active support to teachers in a classroom setting. Instructional support
Collaborate with educators during instructional time to enhance student learning.

Implement daily classroom routines to support effective instruction.
Work directly with students individually, in small groups, or in whole-group settings to reinforce lessons.
Attend and assist in specials classes (Pre-K 3 through Grade 3).
Guide students through assignments to ensure understanding and completion.
Supervise students during non-classroom times, including but not limited to recess, lunch, transitions, hallways, assemblies, Mass, and dismissal
Professional responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date professional credentials and stay informed about educational best practices.
Adhere to all institutional policies and guidelines.
Communicate effectively with school leadership and faculty while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
Administrative duties
Assist with attendance and other clerical tasks to support classroom operations, including managing attendance records and lunch counts.
Support student supervision throughout the school day to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
Prepare and organize instructional materials for classroom use.
Perform additional tasks as requested by administrators or teachers.
Position Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma and a 90-hour childcare certification.
Experience in a Catholic school setting preferred.
