- The Gordon Career Center works with students of all class years to translate their liberal education into a lifetime of meaningful work.

- Reporting to the Associate Director for Career Advising (Arts & Humanities), the Career Development Intern works closely with Gordon Career Center advising staff.
- The intern will work up to 20 hours/week between July-December 2026, with start and end dates, as well as weekly hours, to be determined with the successful candidate.
- This position is not eligible for either benefits or student loan deferment.
- Responsibilities include: Review resumes and other job search materials submitted by students on our recruiting system, Handshake.
- Advise students in appointments to answer basic questions about their job and internship search process.
- Support the Associate Director for Career Advising as needed.
- Provide general administrative support, including for career-related programs sponsored by the Career Center.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This position is an on-campus position with potential for remote or a hybrid (on campus and remote) schedule in the future.
- All positions may require on campus meetings.
- Remote work is only considered for residents of MA, VT, NH, ME, CT, RI, or NY.
Minimum Qualifications
Enrollment in, or completion of, a master’s degree program in counseling, higher education, or a related field. Demonstrated interest in career counseling.
Preferred Qualifications
Liberal arts bachelor’s degree. Experience working in a liberal arts environment. Excellent communications skills. Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
