Our Youth in Transition (YIT) School serves students with intellectual, emotional, and behavioral disabilities through compassionate, student-centered educational and behavioral supports that promote growth, stability, and success. We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Special Education team. This role is ideal for a clinician who values teamwork, evidence-based practice, and the opportunity to directly impact student outcomes within a dynamic school environment. As a BCBA at NCIA, you will partner closely with educators, related service providers, and behavioral support staff to create safe, structured, and supportive learning environments where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. What You’ll Do Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Collaborate with special education teachers, school leadership, related service providers, and academic support staff Participate in IEP meetings, problem-solving discussions, and data reviews Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions using evidence-based practices Provide staff coaching and training on positive behavior supports, de-escalation techniques, and data collection Monitor implementation fidelity and student progress across educational settings Support school-wide behavioral initiatives and classroom management strategies Ensure compliance with IDEA, ethical standards, and state regulations Supervise Behavior Support Staff and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) Build positive relationships with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For Current BCBA certification in good standing Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field Two years experience working in school-based or special education settings preferred Strong collaboration, communication, and consultation skills Knowledge of IEP processes, behavioral interventions, and special education regulations Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture

This is a full-time, salaried, 12-month position within NCIA’s Youth in Transition School, reporting to the Executive Director of Education.
