The instructor will deliver lectures on practical nursing topics and facilitate clinical and laboratory discussions. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, grading student work, and collaborating with the Director of Nursing to revise curricula.
The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology, a two-year not-for-profit College accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education seeks adjunct nursing instructors, approximately 8-24 hours per week for the College’s well-respected Practical Nursing program. This is a day program operating Monday through Friday on a term schedule. The instructors will report to the Director of Nursing.
Supervisor responsibilities: None
Lecturing on practical nursing topics.
Initiate, facilitate, and moderate clinical and/or lab discussions.
Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
Evaluate and grade students class work, laboratory and clinic work, assignments, and papers.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to address issues with instruction.
Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
Oversee labs/clinical activities.
