Job description

  • Willows Child Learning Center in Quebec, CO, is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teachers for the following age groups: Pre-K- Part-Time To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks.
  • Colorado Early Childhood Professional Credential Level 1+ or Formal Education/ECE Experience preferred.
  • Center is willing to train a candidate with a strong interest in working with children.

  • Our Hiring Process: Resume screen Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes) On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes) Q&A Classroom observation Offer Main Job Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
  • Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
  • Take initiative, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
  • Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
  • Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
