Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of a Professor, Early Childhood Education, in the School of Education to join our team of exceptional faculty. The ideal candidate will have

  • Doctoral or master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in Early Childhood Education or a related field (a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in ECE)
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Experience with and/or interest in teaching in an online environment.
  • The ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content in a variety of Early Childhood Education courses.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught.
  • Strong history of or evidence of an interest in professional development activities, which may include research, additional coursework, seminars, and conferences.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with and maintain positive working relationships with students, peers, supervisors, and staff.

Salary Range

$53,015.53 – $62,836.78 (for two terms): the maximum salary is based on a doctorate education level and 10 years of verifiable full-time teaching experience. Salary will be determined at the hire date.

This position's anticipated start date is August 2026.
