Job Summary Provide 1
- 1 and small-group, evidence-based literacy intervention (e.g., Structured Literacy/Orson-Gillingham–based) to students with dyslexia and related language-based learning differences. Conduct literacy screenings, analyze results, and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals. Track progress, adjust instruction using data, and communicate updates to families and stakeholders. Collaborate with franchise owner, classroom teacher, school learning specialist, family members, and other tutors to improve services and support student success. Maintain accurate session notes and uphold ethical, professional standards of practice. Qualifications and Skills Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) credential required; state licensure/teaching certificate preferred. Demonstrated expertise in Structured Literacy and multi-sensory, diagnostic-prescriptive instruction. Minimum 2 years of direct intervention experience with dyslexia or language-based learning needs.
- Strong assessment skills: administering, scoring, and interpreting literacy screeners and progress-monitoring tools. Excellent communication with students, families, and colleagues; culturally responsive practice. Organized, dependable, and data-driven; proficient with digital note-taking and scheduling tools. Ability to tailor instruction across grade levels and diverse learner profiles; bilingual skills a plus.
