  • Description Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Join the Elite DNA Team Elite DNA Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
  • This position provides the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians in a collaborative outpatient environment focused on improving communication, developmental, and behavioral health outcomes for children and families.

  • Position Overview The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) works under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assist in implementing individualized speech and language treatment plans.
  • The SLPA will support patients with communication, articulation, language, social communication, and developmental goals while helping create a positive and engaging therapy experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with implementation of speech and language therapy plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Conduct therapy activities and exercises with patients Document patient sessions and progress accurately within the EMR system Prepare therapy materials and assist with maintaining clinical organization Collaborate with providers, caregivers, and interdisciplinary treatment teams Support a positive patient and family experience Maintain compliance with HIPAA, payer, and organizational standards Participate in trainings, supervision, and team meetings

Requirements

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA program or related field Active SLPA license/certification as required by the applicable state Strong communication and interpersonal skills Pediatric and/or outpatient experience preferred Experience working within behavioral health or developmental settings is a plus
