Elementary/ Middle school teacher (Autism)

Teachers must employ special education strategies to provide quality instruction resulting in student mastery of the curriculum and promoting social, emotional, and cognitive learning within a self-Contained setting. Essential functions include creating and implementing differentiated lesson plans, managing student behavior through established systems, and actively participating in iep development and monitoring.

A bachelor's degree or higher is required, preferably in education or special education, with a master's degree preferred, along with an msde license or eligibility in special education for the appropriate grade band. Preferred qualifications include two or more years of experience in a special education setting or working with emotionally disabled students or children with autism.
