As a Preschool Teacher at Angel arms learning center, you’ll play a vital role in nurturing the growth and development of children ages 3–6 years old or in before and after school program with children ages 6 to 12 years old. through creative lesson planning, hands-on learning, and compassionate guidance, you’ll help young learners build foundational skills in a safe, joyful, and inclusive environment. Your work will support not only early education but also meaningful relationships with families and the school community. What You’ll Do Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood learning standards Foster a classroom culture that is safe, inclusive, supportive, and developmentally appropriate Observe and track students' developmental milestones; regularly communicate progress with families Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and administrators to strengthen the overall school experience Incorporate play, creativity, and social-emotional learning into daily routines Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum Teach beginning reading and math skills Assist children with developing social and emotional skills Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
Bachelor’s degree and state teaching certification Minimum 12 ECE unit is a must. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines Problem-solving and mediation skills State-required teaching certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or childcare setting CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to become certified) Warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and working with young children
