The Opportunity: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Daytona Beach, FL. Is offering one (1) Sports Medicine Fellowship for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for sport coverage as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director/Health and Sport Performance and will have the opportunity to practice and expand their clinical athletic training skills by obtaining hands-on experience under the guidance of the seven full-time staff athletic trainers. The fellow will assist with the daily operation of the two on-campus athletic health care centers, assist with Team Physician(s) clinical athletic training room rounds, work and communicate with coaches, strength and conditioning staff, and other members of the multi-disciplinary athletic health care team. Embry-Riddle Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 20 NCAA Division II sports, and is a proud member of the Sunshine State Conference (SSC). The internship is a 10-month position. Total compensation will be approximately $12,500 per semester plus a university meal plan. Start date will be August 1, 2026 for a term not to exceed May 31, 2027. Depending on sport assignment, there will be considerable time off during the month of December. Housing and health insurance are NOT included.
