Job description
Position Available: Security
We are seeking a Security Officer who will be responsible for the safety and security of the students, staff and facilities. The hours are. 7:30am to 430pm with Wednesday and Thursday off
Duties
will include: patrolling assigned areas on campus, performing building security and safety checks, conducting preliminary investigations (training provided), enforcing the Center rules and regulations, assisting staff and students in addressing issues including de-escalation of behavior, providing escort services as needed, and monitoring activities via camera surveillance systems.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. The applicant should have excellent communication/listening skills, proficiency in computer software, and six months of experience in a security or security-related field. The candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
