Market context

After-school support roles remain locally competitive

In North Carolina, before- and after-school program aide roles are often driven by district needs for dependable student supervision and support outside the regular school day. This position is more competitive for candidates who already have RBT certification or experience in special education and developmental disabilities, since those skills align with the preferred qualifications.
