• https://www.LighthouseCareCenters.com The Certified Teacher is a key member of the Lighthouse Education Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric therapeutic strategy with a keen focus on academics; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective instruction and educational theory is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The Certified Teacher educates students and administers policies and procedures relating to all phases of education in accordance with current state and federal special education standards.

• Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising individualized direct care, educational group services and activities for each assigned student or group. Defines and implements education and behavior goals as a member of the educational team. Provides continuous individualized tailored student care, observation, interaction, documentation, and role modeling to students while under the direct supervision of the Director of Education. You are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
