Preschool Teacher

The Learning Experience – Cascade is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to support children in a structured early learning environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development.

This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating engaging classroom experiences where children build independence, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities Implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage early literacy and math readiness Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Guide children through classroom transitions, learning centers, and group activities Encourage positive social interaction and classroom participation Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress and activities Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required Prior preschool or childcare classroom experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
