Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Afterschool Arabic Teacher to join our afterschool program.

The ideal candidate will create a positive, engaging, and interactive learning environment while introducing students to the Arabic language and culture.

Part Time Working Hours: Wednesday & Thursdays at 3:15 to 5:00 p.m.

Exact hours and days will depend on class enrollment.

Schedule Must be available to commit for the full 2026-2027 school year Students are grouped according to their age/grade level band Sessions are one-hour long

Responsibilities

Teach beginner to intermediate Arabic language skills to pre-school to elementary aged students Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities Effectively manage the classroom and address students’ behavior issues in a positive, professional manner Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students Communicate effectively with afterschool management regarding student and program-related matters Fluency in Arabic and English Previous teaching experience required Experience working with students from preschool to elementary school preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills The hourly rate for this position will be $50 per hour.

Requirements

Candidates must be fluent in Arabic and English with previous teaching experience. Experience working with preschool to elementary aged children is preferred.
